An Empire style mantel clock, the movement with outside countwheel striking on a single bell, with cream-enamelled chapter-ring (chipped), enclosing an engine engraved roundel, in gilt-bronze case, the clock movement enclosed by bands of acanthus, the rectangular base applied with a frieze panel cast with a two-handled vase flanked by flowering cornucopia and scrolling foliage, on rectangular plinth base with acanthus border, bun supports, the dial and movement possibly associated, 19th Century, 14½ins (37cms) high
