COLIN BOOTH
Colin Booth was born in Manchester in 1934. He joined Wolves in 1949 after captaining The Manchester Boys side that got to the final of the England School's Trophy. As a teenager he also played for the England Schoolboy's International team. He first played for the Wolves first team in season 1954-55 (3 appearances). However, it was not until the next season that Booth became a first team regular, appearing 27 times and scoring seven goals. He went on to play a significant part in the Wolves side that won two Championships in the late '50's and totalled approximately 120 games for them, scoring around 40 goals, including four in a league match against Arsenal in 1957 which Wolves won 5-2. At the end of season 1959-60 Booth signed for Nottingham Forest.
