The Scotland Tour of America, 1949, comprised a series of nine games. Scotland won eight of their matches which included a famous floodlit match against St. Louis All Stars in Philidelphia, in which Willie Waddell scored six goals. Scotland also defeated the U.S.A. International side 4-0. However, in a match against Belfast Celtic at Triborough Stadium before a crowd of 15,000, Scotland lost 2-0.
