A late Victorian walnut, kingwood crossbanded, ebony and gilt-metal-mounted side cabinet, the crossbanded top above a moulded frieze fitted with a drawer above a panelled cupboard door inlaid with a vase issuing flowers with birds in flight, the sides similarly inlaid and divided by rounded angles, with foliate and acanthus clasps, the moulded serpentine base with shaped apron, on squat cabriole supports mounted with pierced acanthus and c-scroll-cast gilt-metal sabots, 41in.
