cover 1849-1900, an interesting and wide-ranging assembly comprising entire letters etc. (over 150 items) including many different frankings (including several scarce mixed issues), used abroad, maritime, Royal and T.P.O. mail, unusual destinations and a fine range of cancellations with scarce types, also a series of 1894-95 envelopes (5) bearing "Republic" or "Empire" colour trials, mostly in poor condition but apparently accepted by the Post Office. Variable condition but worthy of close examination
