Lot Essay

Westley Richards have kindly confirmed that the rifle was completed circa 1875. It is of superlative quality and is the companion to rifle No. 12753 sold in these rooms on 22 March 1995 as part of the Tulchan Collection. Rifle No. 12754 appears to have been very little used
