AN IRON PRICK SPUR with downcurved arms with rectangular buckle-shaped terminals, and short straight neck with onion-shaped spiked terminal, 13th Century; a Gothic rowel spur with slender curved sides, ring terminals, one with buckle, and star-shaped rowel, early 15th Century; another, the sides rising to a V-shaped heel band and terminating in double rings, 15th Century; another (one ring terminal missing), with large eight-pointed rowel, late 14th Century; a tilting spur with straight U-shaped heel band pierced with two circular holes at the front on each side, long downcurved neck, and large seven pointed rowel, early 16th Century; and a curb bit, 16th/17th Century, all in excavated condition
