1653 (11 June) entire letter from General Fleetwood, C-in-C in Ireland, at Dublin to the "Lord President & ye rest of ye Councill of State of Whitehall" stating that he had ordered the fleet, then in harbout at Chester and Liverpool, to sea to clear the "pirates" from the northern coasts.
