The silvered foliate-engraved dial signed French, Royal Exchange, LONDON, within a Roman chapter ring with blued spade hands, subsidiary dials in the arch for strike silent and pendulum regulation, the triple chain fusee movement with anchor escapement, chiming on eight bells and hour strike on a further bell, pendulum holdfast to the border-engraved backplate, the pointed arched case with spire finial and inlaid with foliate trails, the sides with trellis-filled pointed arches and carrying-handles, on bun feet, the bracket with rectangular top with inlaid frieze on a single scroll support
