A QUEEN ANNE BRASS-MOUNTED BLACK AND GILT-JAPANNED CABINET-ON-SECRETAIRE CHEST
Decorated overall with simulated raised lacquer of Chinese scenes, birds, flowers and foliage, the double shaped arched pediment above a pair of doors enclosing an arrangement of ten blue material-lined drawers below two hinged compartments, the lower section with a fitted secretaire-drawer enclosing four small drawers and eight pigeon-holes, above three long drawers and a shaped apron, on bracket feet, previously with bun feet with remains of paper label on the reverse inscribed in ink...... 'ALBERTO XX1X' and inscribed in chalk '20132521/1' and '26', the handles replaced, previously with bun feet, the apron original and the bracket feet extended
