A CHARLES II GILTWOOD MIRROR

The later rectangular plate with a foliate-wrapped slip and shaped frame with a satyr mask in each corner holding swagged fruit, the cresting centred by a cherub mask below a cartouche, restorations to the extremities, the tip of the apron replaced, traces of possible silvering, possibly originally a picture-frame
