A Victorian silver inkstand
Mark of Henry Atkins, Sheffield, 1899
Boat shaped, with reeded border, the ends lattice-pierced, fitted with two cut-glass bottles with silver mounts, the hinged covers with baluster finials, also fitted with a central fluted and reeded taperstick with detachable nozzle, marked on stand, mounts and covers, taperstick base, underside and nozzle, one mount stamped 'Thornhill LD Bond St W', the taperstick base filled; together with a Victorian silver Albert pattern variant fish serving set of slice and fork, each pierced and engraved with floral and foliate scrolls, mark of Elizabeth Eaton, London, 1847
