A pair of Meissen models of green woodpeckers
19th Century, blue crossed swords marks, various impressed and incised numerals
Each modelled seated astride a leafy tree-stump, with beak open and red tongues exposed, their heads with black and red speckled plumage, their breasts in grey and yellow, their backs and wings in green, with black and white speckled wing-tips and edges (restoration to beaks and foliage)
