The circular bowl with two shaped side handles cast and chased with shells, scrolls and foliage and with shell terminals, the bowl pierced with scrolls and latticework, the handles each later engraved with a crest within a shaped-oval cartouche, the reverse of one with the initials M.A.H to E.S, marked on side, engraved on reverse of handle with scratch weight 8-18 - 12¼in. (31cm.) long
