A collection of medals and related miniatures, all awarded to Macklin. 1914-1943, comprising: The Order of the British Empire, Officer's Great Badge, 1st type, (Military Division); Military Cross, G.V.R.; Victory medal 1914-19 (Major); Polar Medal, G.V.R., one clasp Antarctic 1914-1916 (A.H. Macklin, Surgeon, "Endurance"); Efficiency Decoration, G.VI.R, reverse dubbed '1943', extremely fine.
Together with the Italian Altipiani medal, a 'lucky' silver U.S. Dollar '1878' mounted as a brooch and a related group of six miniature awards, including the British War Medal 1914-19 and the Imperial Russian Order of St. Stanislaus with swords.
