Tasting note: 23.5 Alc/vol. Mahogany hue. Seductive, complex nose. A mixture of wood smoke and caramel with warm, estery, raisin character. An older, more mature style--really beginning to come into its own. Very dry with firm acidity giving plenty of 'attack'. Impressive. Roasted almond character, plenty of glycerol, layered tangy flavours. Hot but delicious. Superb length. Excellent. T.H.
