A GRAND SELECTION OF WINES FROM THE CELLAR OF A TRUE WINE LOVER. INCLUDING HEITZ MARTHA'S 1974, LA MISSION 1975, D'YQUEM 1967 AND RARE RIDGE FROM THE 1970'S
Lots 264-368
Removed from ideal storage conditions where the wines have been since purchase upon release, many directly from the producer.
This collection comes to us from a man who is very passionate about wine. Amongst the many great wines that comprise this cellar it is the wines of Ridge Vineyards in the Sonoma Valley that command the center of attention.
Established in 1959 originally as a part-time concern, it's popularity grew and eventually they decided to employ someone full time to make the wine, enter a young and talented winemaker by the name of Paul Draper.
Since 1969 he has been fashioning some of the worlds finest and most unique wines. These are wines of great character and soul, wines that mature superbly and wines that have always represented excellent value for money.
There are some rare examples here and it's quite likely that we'll be seeing some of them for the last time, especially in such fine condition.
A testament to both the owner and the wines.
Important Notice: As with the previous cellar these wines have come the very best of conditions and as a result are bin-soiled and damp stained to some degree, those in poor condition will be stated in the lot description.
