Tasting note: garnet red with brown edges, this is ripe and fruity without great complexity on the nose. This is for drinking rather than long-term keeping, and is a touch underwhelming, given the reputation of the vintage and of Taylor, but is undoubtedly rich, harmonious and finely balanced. A.H.
