The centres painted in a bright palette in the manner of Richard Dodson with exotic birds perched on tree-stumps in landscape and river landscape vignettes, the borders richly gilt with scrolling foliage and stylised flower-sprays, the rims gilt, comprising a shell-shaped dish (repaired chip to underside of rim), two lozenge-shaped dishes (one with slight haircrack to rim, the other with small chip to underside of rim), six plates (one repaired, one with rubbed gilt rim) (some staining and crazing throughout), the dishes with Crown, crossed batons and D marks in gold, the plates with Crown, crossed batons and D marks in iron-red
