Painted in ochre, green and manganese with groups of fruit suspended from winged cherub's heads beneath a border of stylised drapery and tassels, the loop handle with blue dash ornament (crack and slight chips to handle, crack round lower part of body, slight cracks and associated rim chips to top rim), the hinged pewter cover inscribed H.U.E. flanked by the date 1683
