Lot Essay

Marie-Amélie of Bourbon-Naples (1782-1866), sixth daughter of Ferdinand IV, King of Sicily, married Louis-Philippe, then Duc d'Orléans (see lot 108) in 1809 and became Queen of the French in 1830. For a miniature of their ill-fated eldest son, see lot 107.
