Stamped, gilded and decoupé leather, the obverse of each board with a central rectangular panel with a variety of flowering trees, animals, birds and clouds above, in a border of stamped floral cartouches alternating with palmette roundels with inner meandering flowering vine stripe (rubbed, gilding gone on highpoints, edges scuffed), the interior with a central panel of interlaced bands forming intersecting panels of decoupé golden arabesques on white, buff, green and black grounds, the border with similar black decoupé arabesques on white cartouches alternating with similer roundels, inner stamped gold meandering flowering vine stripe (slight losses of decoupé overlay), complete with similarly decorated flap, lacking spine
