A TOPHANE WARE UNGLAZED POTTERY CANDLESTICK

With wide flaring skirt rising through a boss with flaring band through to a waisted section with upper flaring inverted bell-shaped socket, the upper and lower sections carved with fish-scale-moitfs, the centre of each with a small golden dot, the lower section also with three roundels containing silver rays radiating from an impressed golden tughra roundel, all flaring sections with beaded rims, the mouth with silver and gold cusping
