Second half 19th Century
Comprising a clock and a pair of seven-light candelabra: the clock surmounted by an urn with fruit finial and with a pair of eaglehead handles, above the domed case, the porcelain dial painted with musical trophies and with roman numerals, with twin-train movement and countwheel striking on a bell, above a panel painted with a scene of a courting couple within a landscape, with a further painted panel to the sides, on scrolling foliate-cast feet each headed by a female mask, on a shaped base; the candelabra each with a central fluted stem and six further foliate-scrolling branches each with a turned nozzle and foliate drip-pan, the lower half conforming to the clock, drilled for electricity
