Painted by J. Pascault, circa 1900

One painted after Rouget with Le Marriage, the other painted after David with Le Sacre, the reverse of each painted with named views of Fontainbleau and La Malmaison, each with a domed lid surmounted by a berried finial, with a waisted neck above a tapering body decorated with berried wreaths of ribbon-tied laurel, on a spreading socle with Imperial emblem, and square stepped foot, signed, the covers with imitation Sèvres script marks
