A RARE ETCHED, CARVED AND ENAMELLED 'RAIN' VASE

Of elliptical section, roughly textured on the exterior and etched with fine rain falling onto an open field with woodland in the distance and a variety of fungi in the foreground, the body internally coloured dawn pink at the skyline, and green behind the fields deepening towards the base, the mushrooms and surrounding grass with finely carved details and naturalistic enamelling, the distant landscape and raindrops en grisaille, engraved mark Daum Nancy.
