Each enamelled at the centre with two ladies seated on a low bed, one holding a ruyi sceptre in her right hand, the other holding a circular fan, both wearing long robes, their hair in a high chignon, beside a dog and a jardinière of peony on a tall stand, all in front of a large screen with a central riverscape roundel, the border with four shaped blossoming prunus panels reserved on a seeded ground embellished with lotus and peony sprays
