With rebrowned damascus twist barrels signed on the rib, scroll engraved top-strap, signed scroll engraved case-hardened back-action locks, case-hardened scroll engraved action and underlever, walnut butt, chequered grip and bar-in-wood fore-end, scroll engraved iron mounts, silver escutcheon, and traces of original finish: in lined and fitted oak case (minor defects to lining and lid, corner compartment lid missing) with loading tools, the lid with trade label inscribed with loading instructions, the exterior with flush-fitting carrying handle, London proof marks
