With four-stage twist sighted barrel inlaid with silver bands and arabesques and with brass-lined maker's stamp, brass-lined touch-hole, signed rounded lock chiselled with a shell on the tail, figured walnut half-stock carved with scrollwork in relief, reeded iron mounts, cheek-piece, turned iron ramrod-pipes, horn fore-end cap, iron sling mounts, and original iron-capped ramrod, the butt with copper armoury tag numbered 291
