With lightly belled barrel and silver satyr-mask fore-sight, the breech with engraved top flat, engraved grooved tang, rounded scroll engraved lock signed within a rococo cartouche, moulded figured walnut full stock (grip repaired) carved with a shell in relief behind the barrel tang, brass mounts engraved with rococo shells and scrolls including trigger-guard with pierced floral finial, cast and chased foliate escutcheon surmounted by a satyr-head, and shaped solid side-plate, four brass ramrod-pipes and barrel-bolts, and later brass-tipped ramrod (iron parts with some wear and light surface pitting), London proof marks
