A 32-BORE GERMAN FLINTLOCK SPORTING AIR RIFLE

With swamped octagonal sighted barrel cut with seven grooves, engraved tang, signed flat bevelled lock, moulded walnut full stock (chipped and cracked, fore-end tip incomplete) carved in relief with foliage, cheek-piece, engraved brass mounts retaining most of their engraved decoration, including shaped solid side-plate with a scene of the chase, the reservoir housed within the butt, the butt-plate with sprung hinged cover to the aperture for the pump, engraved octagonal brass ramrod-pipes, and original wooden ramrod (in worn condition, iron parts pitted)
