With twist sighted barrel signed in full at the breech within a finely engraved ribbon of elaborate rocailles and scrollwork, finely engraved recessed patent breech with gold-lined touch-hole, finely engraved tang, signed flat bevelled lock densely engraved with scrollwork and with stepped tail, roller, and gold-lined V-shaped rainproof pan (top jaw and screw replaced), figured walnut half-stock (fore-end repaired), chequered grip and fore-end, finely engraved iron mounts, grip safety-catch in the tang of the trigger-guard, gold escutcheon, engraved iron barrel-bolt escutcheons, horn fore-end cap, and later horn-tipped ramrod (iron parts with areas of light pitting), London proof marks
