With round barrels each engraved with a band of foliage at the muzzle, blued nipples marked 'L' and 'R', signed scroll engraved action with blued safety-catches (one hammer spur repaired), scroll engraved trigger-guard, finely chequered walnut butt, silver escutcheon, engraved silver band around the pommel, domed scroll engraved iron butt-trap with hinged cover, and stirrup ramrod: in fitted brass-bound mahogany case lined in green velvet, with accessories, the lid with trade label of Manton & Co, No. 10 Lall Bazaar, Calcutta, Birmingham proof marks
