With browned octagonal barrel stamped 'Heely' and 'Stubs' beneath the breech, engraved tang, signed engraved bevelled lock with roller and safety-catch (cock replaced), walnut full stock (fore-end split and repaired), engraved brass mounts including butt-cap and trigger-guard, the latter with pineapple finial and engraved with a martial trophy on the bow, brass escutcheon, and brass-tipped ramrod, London proof marks
