With slightly belled Italian two-stage barrels with turned girdle, the breeches each with two gold-lined maker's marks of Cristiano Leoni of Pistoia (Neue Støckel 7774 and 7775), plain grooved tangs, signed rounded locks with moulded border, figured walnut full stocks carved with a shell behind the barrel tang, iron mounts comprising plain scroll side-plates, spurred pommels chiselled with a scallop-shell on each side, pommel-caps chiselled with a flowerhead, trigger-guards with acorn finial, and turned ramrod-pipes, iron belt hooks, and original horn-tipped ramrods (one incomplete), London proof marks and Foreigner's mark
