SIGNED RYAN & WATSON, BIRMINGHAM, EARLY 19TH CENTURY

With signed browned twist octagonal sighted barrels, case-hardened patent breeches each with platinum line, platinum-lined maker's stamp of Ryan & Son, Birmingham, and platinum-lined touch-hole, engraved case-hardened tangs each incorporating a back-sight, signed engraved case-hardened bevelled locks and each with safety-catch, pierced cock, rainproof pan, and roller, finely figured walnut full stocks, finely chequered butts, engraved blued iron mounts, silver escutcheons and barrel-bolt escutcheons, original brass-tipped ramrods, and in pristine condition throughout: in associated lined and fitted mahogany case with accessories, the lid with trade label of John Manton & Son, No. 6 Dover Street, London for circa 1820-24, Birmingham proof marks
