HOKKEI (1780-1850): surimono, 21.4 x 18.8cm., two from the series Hanazono ban-tsuzuki 'A set for Hanazono Group', the one with a pair of scissors, pieces of cloth, toy birds and cloth flowers, a poem by Baikatei Sodezumi; and the other depicting a crayfish and a fan, a poem by Seiyokan Umeyo, both with a large cartouch on right with a plum branch and a Chinese poem, the collector's seal of Hayashi Tadamasa--both good impressions and colour, very slightly foxed and minor holes (2)
