Signed Mutsu no kami Tsunamune, mid 17th Century
Iorimune, honzukuri with medium point (chu-gissaki), slight curve (sori) with very tightly forged itame, fully tempered with niju-ba, sanju-ba and yonju-ba with bright ko-nie dispersed throughout the blade, small kaen-boshi the tang suriage, signed in large bold characters, the reverse signed Sendai-jyoshu Urin Buko (the lord of Sendai castle), Shinagawa no hotori, tsurezure nagusami kore tsukuru (made this to relieve tedium near Sinagawa), in shirasaya
