Helmet bowl and do early Edo period (17th Century), mounting mid/late Edo (1603-1686)

The helmet thirty-two plate suji-bachi black lacquered, tosei mabizashi embossed with wrinkles and eyebrows, five-lame hineno- jikoro of kiritsuke kozane laced kon-kebiki-oboshi, black lacquered fukigaeshi with gilt copper mon and maedate of gilded copper of crescent moon; a russet iron menpo of good form, each ear pierced with a manji with gilt copper teeth, moustache restored, five-lame yodarekake of kiritsuke-kozane laced kon kebiki odoshi; the do of honkozane black lacquered and laced kon-kebiki-odoshi, the lower two rows of sane gold lacquered and laced with white odoshi, the kusazuri of honkozane and lower plates trimmed with white bear fur, the centre one with lacquered leather pouch; the tatehire and kohire of black Dutch cloth with yellow hishinui and black lacqured kosode of kiritsuke kozane laced kon kebiki odoshi; Oda- gote the iron palte lacquered in black and gold; black lacquered ikada haidate; and black lacquered Shino-suneate, the ieji of blue and gold brocade (2)
