fifteen signed with the artist's initials 'JDC', twenty-two dated variously from 'March 4 1859' to 'May 1859' and the majority inscribed; pencil heightened with touches of white on coloured paper, fourteen with watercolour, unframed
5.3/8 x 8.7/8in. (137 x 226mm.); and smaller; thirty-two watercolours laid down on five sheets of card; and a pencil drawing of a Country Cottage signed, dated and inscribed 'John Crace/From nature/1849' and a View of a Saloon inscribed and dated on the reverse '../Saloon-/Augst. 9. 1859' (34)
