The furniture displayed in this interior was sold in these Rooms 17 June 1823. The boulle marquetry pediments (attributed to Andre Charles Boulle) found either side of the fireplace have been sold recently at Sotheby's in Monaco, lot 219, 4 December 1983; and were sold again in 1992 in Christie's New York, 4 November, lot 226 ($220,000).
