This is very similar to the pair of Regency 'Kentian revival' giltwood settees in the Double Cube Room at Wilton House, Wiltshire, seat of the Earls of Pembroke & Montgomery. The Wilton settees are created with an earl's coronet and has fruiting and foliate swags between the legs (see: A. Coleridge, Chippendale Furniture, London, 1968, fig. 200)
