The pendant of Kermit the Frog was a present from the producers of The Muppet Show in which Nureyev appeared on January 23, 1978. The further pendant was Nureyev's own disrespectful and humorous addition.

Suspended at the right hand from a block link chain inscribed Thailand 925, the pendant inscribed Sterling under the right foot, the grinning Kermit strapped with steel thread to a further white metal pendant of disproportionately sized, articulated and adjustable male genitalia inscribed Oggi + di ieri + di domani on the reverse of the scrotum.
