Momoyama-Edo Period (16th-17th century), with signature Hoki no kami Fujiwara Nobutaka [Nobutaka I d. 1626)]
The configuration shinogi-zukuri, iori-mune with a chu-kissaki point and the curvature koshi-zori, the forging pattern masa-me and the tempered edge notare, the boshi straight and the tang ubu with two holes and sujikai file marks; solid siver habaki decorated with a 'cat scratch' pattern
