Eurich spent the winter of 1932-33 painting at Lyme Regis on the suggestion of Rex Nan Kivell, the owner of the Redfern Gallery. Eurich returned to Kivell in the Spring of 1933 with a whole collection of Lyme Regis paintings and was granted a one-man exhibition the following month.
