A Celadon Stoneware Ewer
Koryo Dynasty (12th century)
With ovoid body rising from a ring foot and recessed base to a high and slightly flared neck, moulded with a faceted, curved spout and with a loop handle carved with two parallel grooves, the vessel decorated by an olive-green celadon glaze with large crackle which is deeper green in the handle channels where thicker; foot rim unglazed, base glazed and with five spur marks, interior of the mouth and approximately three-quarters of the lower interior of the ewer also applied with celadon glaze
