One of a series of figure drawings executed at Equihen, Northern France in April-June 1907. This work relates to a similar drawing of three figures French Children of the Road, which lacks the figure of the young girl on the right-hand side (see J. Rothenstein, Augustus John, London, 1944, pl.20).
