The insignia offered in the following thirty five lots were bestowed upon one or more of the last three Khedives of Egypt. The majority were awarded to Abbas II Hilmi, and present an opportunity to examine original insignia, all of the highest quality, from a number of countries. It is particularly interesting to be able to study several fine German pieces and compare their workmanship with the modern copies so frequently encountered.
