INDENTThis "Special Class" Badge is the personal gift of the Sovereign, and has been awarded only eighteen times since its inception under Carl XIV. This example is believed to have been bestowed upon G. H. Ljunggren, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Lund, in 1868.
