INDENTCaptain John McIntyre, V. D., a rifleman of note who shot in both the "Scottish 20" and the "Scottish 8" in the same year, enrolled in the Dunbartonshire Volunteer Rifle Corps, 1860; Ensign 1865; Captain 1880; resigned his Commission, 1887.

Major John Barr Wright, V. D. (1852-1932), enrolled in the 1st Battalion, Dunbartonshire Volunteer Rifle Corps, 1871; Major 1896 (V. D. 1898). Major Wright died at Alexandria 28th May, 1932.
